Located in a busy inner-city area, this refurbishment project required asbestos removal and re-roofing in a high pedestrian and traffic environment. Road closures, crane access, traffic management and public safety all required detailed coordination.
Solution
Coordinated Crane Access & Traffic Control for a Safe Asbestos Re-Roof
R.O. Steel Roofing planned and staged the works around the restricted city site, coordinating crane operations, traffic control and safe public access. The existing asbestos roof was removed and replaced with a new Colorbond metal roofing and gutter system, together with insulation, fibreglass roof sheeting and vents.

A Fully Renewed, Better-Performing Roof Delivered in a Complex Urban Site
The project provided Kennards Self Storage with a fully renewed roofing system while managing the complex access and safety requirements of an active urban location. The upgraded roof improved weather protection, natural light, ventilation and long-term building performance.
