Full Recladding of an Operational Warehouse
The project required a complete building recladding while the warehouse remained operational.
Careful staging and coordination were essential to safely remove existing metal cladding, redundant flashings, and asbestos soffit linings without disrupting production or day-to-day site activities.
Solution
Staged Removal, Asbestos Soffit to Full Envelope
A staged construction program was implemented to maintain uninterrupted operations throughout the project. Existing cladding, flashings, and asbestos soffit linings were safely removed and disposed of in accordance with all regulatory requirements before installing new COLORBOND® 0.42 BMT Wilderness Trimdek wall cladding, soffit linings, flashings, and cappings to create a fully integrated external envelope.
Outcome
Zero Disruption, a Clean New Façade Throughout
The project was completed efficiently with zero disruption to the client's operations. The new cladding system delivered a durable, weathertight, and low-maintenance façade, significantly enhancing the building's performance and appearance while providing a clean, modern, and consistent finish across the entire facility.
